In addition to working with fused glass, I design and fabricate sterling silver jewelry pieces using techniques such as soldering, riveting, and weaving. I experiment with jewelry made from found objects (my grandmother's button box has been raided), beads, leather and fabric. To me, the idea of creating jewelry that is unique and that people can use everyday to feel good is highly satisfying. I love to explore ways to incorporate the unexpected into a piece of jewelry to give each piece a story of it's own.
I consider myself a fairly new, but constant student of jewelry-making techniques and methods. I began taking Jewelry and Metalsmithing classes in the Winter of 2004 at The Spruill Center for the Arts in Atlanta, GA. Spruill Center for the Arts
